Her Voice in Governance

HerVoice in Governance is a women-focused leadership and governance initiative designed to strengthen the participation of women across North Central Nigeria in decision-making processes at the community and local government levels. The project seeks to empower women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take up leadership roles, influence public policies, and advocate for transparent and inclusive governance.

Through capacity-building workshops, mentorship sessions, and community dialogues, HerVoice in Governance creates a platform for women to amplify their voices, share experiences, and collaborate with key stakeholders in driving positive change. By promoting gender-responsive governance and supporting emerging female leaders, the project contributes to building a more inclusive political and civic landscape where women’s perspectives and leadership are valued in shaping sustainable development across North Central states.
